Final Fantasy VII Remake Announced At E3 2015

You wouldn’t think a place like E3 2015 – overflowing with the latest technology and newest, eye-popping video games on display, would be where one of the biggest moments in nostalgic, retro gaming news would come from (or maybe that’s exactly where you thought it would come from). In either case, that’s exactly what happened when Sony announced the official Final Fantasy VII remake for Playstation 4.

No doubt tears of joy were shed as the teaser video played. They constructed the trailer with just the right amount of recognizable music and imagery to make my brain say “What is this? Is this… No. It looks and sounds like… No. It can’t be. Holy swords and flying monkeys they did it! They really did it!

This remake could bring one of the most beloved games of all time to a new generation of gamers as well as provide a whole new experience to fans of the original.
